In short

Gif4Mac works entirely on your Mac. bdzapps receives none of your recordings or data, and the app makes no network request of its own. Purchases go through Apple.

What stays on your device

These stay on your Mac:

• your recordings while you edit them (temporary files, deleted when you cancel, finish or quit),
• the GIFs you export, in ~/Documents/Gif4Mac,
• your settings.

Screen Recording permission is used only to capture the area you select, and only while you record.

What goes over the network, and to whom

Gif4Mac makes no network request of its own. The bundled FFmpeg encoder is built with networking disabled. The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

Payments

The annotation upgrade is sold as an in-app purchase through the Mac App Store. Apple processes the payment and tells the app whether the purchase is active. bdzapps never receives your name, payment details or Apple Account information (Apple Privacy Policy).

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, whatever their age, including children under 13.

This website

This website (bdzapps.com) sets no cookies, runs no analytics and makes no third-party requests. It is a set of static pages served over HTTPS.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behaviour changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
